Co-organized by Central Partnership (part of Gazprom Media), China Film Group and the Saosyan Film Company, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Russian Embassy in China, this is the first Festival of Russian Military Cinema in this country that kicks off today, September 6, in Beijing.

The festival will take place across two cities: Beijing, from September 6th to 10th, and Changsha, the largest city in the Hunan Province, from September 8th to 12th. With the aid of Central Partnership, the festival will showcase a selection of iconic, contemporary films, including both time-tested favorites and all-new releases straight from the Russian box office, such as Zoya, The Last Frontier, T-34, Frontier, Match and Height 89.
